What’s New for the 2022 F-Types?

The F-Type P450, which will be offered in rear- or all-wheel drive, is a new addition to Jaguar’s portfolio. It will be driven by a 444-horsepower supercharged V8 that will propel the car to highway speeds in just 4.5 seconds from a standstill. 428 lb-ft of torque is also available, with all of it available at just 2,500 rpm. The Jaguar F-TYPE P450 comes standard with an 8-speed automatic transmission with overdrive, 4-wheel anti-lock brakes (ABS), side seat mounted airbags, curtain 1st row overhead airbags, etc. airbag occupancy sensor, automatic air conditioning, 20″ aluminum wheels, cruise control, ABS, and driveline traction control.

Then there’s the F-type R, which has a whopping 575 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque. The R coupe we drove rushed to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds and over the quarter-mile in 11.7 seconds at 121 mph, thanks to the standard all-wheel-drive and the same eight-speed automatic as the P450. The entry-level model among the 2022 Jaguar F-TYPE options gives superior luxury amenities to Boerne drivers. Take a peek at a few of our favorites, which are listed on the side:
